Education

  • BE in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Bengal Engineering College, Shibpur, India standing First in First Class in the Faculty of Engineering in 1975 (held in 1976).
  • M Tech   in Electronics from Institute of Radio Physics and Electronics, Calcutta University, India obtaining a Grade Point Average of 3.36 (High First Class) in 1979.
  • M Computer Science  from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada obtaining A’s in all six courses in 1987. Selected as the 1985 Canadian Commonwealth Scholar and study sponsored by Government of India
  • Ph.D. in Computer Science  from Calcutta University, India for the thesis entitled ‘Some Studies  on the Performance of Parallel Processing Computer Systems’ in 1988. Research work conducted at Indian Statistical  Institute, Calcutta  under the supervision of Prof. A K Chaudhury of the Department of Computer Science, Calcutta University. It includes compiler optimization techniques, computer system architecture, performance modeling, and simulation.

Designed the Technological Framework for development of  all Ocwen  Technology XChange products.

Built up and managed  IT infrastructure and data security for software development, BPO and Call Center.

Introduced use of Rational Software suite of products and developed Quality Management System based on SEI CMM standards.
